It is essential to have a variety of cleaning brushes and cloths to get to all of the nooks and crannies that your wheels have where dirt and contaminates can hide. At times it may even make sense to periodically remove the wheels from the car to thoroughly wash them, especially if you drive a lot. You should also wash your car and your wheels more frequently if you live in an area that is near the ocean or during the winter when the roads are salted to help with icy conditions.
